My name is Lucas Baldassari, I’m 31 years old, married to Gabi and father of Matteo. I’m from Santo André, São Paulo, but I’ve always had a thing for traveling and adventures! When I was 18, I took a six-month trip to the South of Brazil. When I came back, I started dreaming of even more distant adventures… I knew that English would be essential in my life, but traditional schools weren’t helping me.
So, I decided to go to the United States, without knowing how to speak English and learning everything the hard way! In just three months living in Tampa, Florida, I became fluent in English! I spent two years there, studying and making lots of friends.
When I returned to Brazil, some friends started asking me for help learning English. The only way I knew how to teach was the same way I learned: English through practice and lots of fun!
After living abroad, I realized that most English teaching methods in Brazil were outdated and too focused on a formal language that no one really uses. So, I started teaching my friends to speak like the people out there, using everyday situations. The results were incredible, and more and more people started to come.
